With the car market ever expanding and with the numerous brands new models coming out every year, it’s hard to make a choice. Then there’s the question if you want to buy this year’s model, or wait for the next year’s collection, as you never know when a new model will come and beat the competition with increased gas mileage, smoother control, more power etc. Here are some of the best cars that are about to arrive in 2016 and which will probably make your wait worth it.
The XE model is perhaps the most important vehicle in the latest history of Jaguar. Probably entering the market in early 2016, this car will do its best to dethrone the BMW 3 series which have clearly dominated the compact executive class for the past few years. The XE will also be the first Jaguar model that will boast an aluminum platform, in addition to the new generation of four cylinder engines which will allow the XE to reach speeds of up to 186 miles per hour. The added power will surprisingly have lesser environmental impact as they will emit less than 100 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
The Volvo XC90 is a highly anticipated model that will probably reach the markets in early 2016 as well. This new SUV will probably have strong influences from the XC Coupe model that was revealed at the Detroit Motor Show. The XC90 will also be the first Volvo model ever to use the SPA architecture which will try to combine high strength steel with lightweight metals. The 2 liter four cylinder engine capable of 302 brake horsepower will also be twinned with an electric version, representing an attraction for the environmentally conscious car lovers.
Honda will try to topple the supermini class with its new Jazz model. The new version will probably try to shift from the current Jazz design while giving this small car more interior space, helping it move to the top of the line. A trait that has been loved, the Magic Seats will be kept, and the flip up bases coupled with the increased length of the wheelbase will mean that this car will have more interior space than ever. In addition to the increased space, the new Honda Jazz will be available in more engine versions, a hybrid, a diesel and two petrol engines. The 2016 Jazz will likely dispute the top spot with its rival, the Ford Fiesta.
The new Audi A4 will represent a bold move from the German manufacturers, as the model will not only benefit from a front redesign that is along the lines of the new TT, but it will also boast a sharper grille, slicker headlights and a weight reduction of 100 kg from the previous model, rivaling with the BMW 3 Series.
So now you know which the most anticipated models of 2016 are. Choose the car that will meet both your needs and taste, and you will have many years of satisfaction behind the wheel of one of these beauties.
